It turned out that we were both going shopping for last minute food at a local supermarket on the following Sunday afternoon. After a bit of persuasion, I agreed to meet Scott there and we got on well.  | well what can i say tony looked at my profile a yr b4 contacting me, he then look again in september and emailed me, and i replied a couple of days later, and then we chatted via pof then we took each others phone numbers, then after a week we met up and yes it was love at first sight amazing, feeling like this thanks to pof. we are now engaged and will be moving in together this year then marriage next yr....thank u so much fantastic dating site. |
 | We met on POF. I had emailed her and got no response for a couple of weeks. I figured she was not interested. Kept searching and she kept being in the top 10 people, based on what I was looking for. She finally replied and we talked for an hour or two on the phone. We planned a date and went out. It was a perfect. It didn't take long to realize that we had met each other's soul-mates. After about six months we removed our profiles from POF. We always recommend POF to single people when online dating comes up. True love can be found on POF. Our advice for everyone. 1. Be verbose, write plenty about yourself, proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. 2. Be honest about yourself (Looks, interests, and personality). 3. Definitely post a recent picture (Ladies NO GLAMOUR SHOTS). Guys want to see you the way the will on the first date. 4. Use all the analysis tools at hand to make a good personality match.  | I decided to try something new by signing up for internet dating sites because I live in a smaller town and knew that the bars were not the way to find a good relationship. I signed up on POF in Aug 07. I had met a few guys and went on a few dates, but nothing really clicked. Then in Sep 07 a profile caught my eye that was "too good to be true", but I had nothing to lose so I decided to message him. I sent the following, "I have two questions for you......are you single & are you for real?!" I got my response the next day. I just couldn't believe this guy was for real! He had a daughter and loved cats......two big points in my book! We messaged back and forth for three weeks before we exchanged numbers. Our first conversation was so long that my cell phone died! LOL! We met on October 28, 2007 and right away found out we had a lot in common. Our conversations just flowed from one subject to the next as if we had been around each other our whole lives. We moved in together on June 30, 2008......got engaged January 3, 2009 and will be married June 19, 2010. No, our girls and cats don't always get along.....but then again what would life be without a little excitement?! He's the one I never saw coming and will never let go of. Thanks bunches POF!!!!!! |
